		<description>My money is on &lt;em&gt;L. maculata&lt;/em&gt;, based on the merged pales spots forming a blotchy band near the apex of the forewing.  In &lt;em&gt;L. caryae&lt;/em&gt; the band appears as discrete pale spots.
